Welcome to a special edition update from the Oakland Zoo. 
A look at the zoo map. 
Inside the gates now. Everything was set up for Members Night, a behind the scenes look at the Oakland Zoo. 
The zoo has come along was from the 1970s, the massive amount of donors is a good reason why. 
Our first stop was the elephant exhibit. I'd just like to point out how expansive this enclosure is. A few years ago they more than doubled the size. 
One of the elephants chillin' out by the water. 
Next stop was the Meerkat exhibit. Here I am, this giant human coming up to them, yet they just keep their eyes focused in on the sky.
